STUDENTS WERE SCHEDULED TO TAKE NINE WEEKS TEST – IF A STUDENT FAILED A TEST DURING THE 2nd  NINE WEEKS THEY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE IT NEXT WEEK:

STUDENTS WHO ARE EXEMPT WILL NEED TO CONTACT ME THROUGH EMAIL [email protected] OR THROUGH REMIND TO LET ME KNOW IF THEY WILL TAKE IT MONDAY, TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY

Lesson Plans for the Week of December 11, 2017

Monday – Students will take notes on adding and subtracting radicals. Students will complete an assignment.

Tuesday – Students will take notes on multiplying radicals. Students will complete an assignment.

Wednesday – Students will complete a homework check – add/subtract radicals. Students will complete a second assignment on multiplying radicals.

Thursday – Students will work on preparing for nine week test – use past reviews in Google Classroom.

Friday – Students will take a Nine Week Test.

Monday – Students will take a homework check – verify functions are inverses and graph a function and its inverse. Students will begin a review for the test on Wednesday.

Tuesday – Students will continue to review for the test – find the inverse of a function, verify functions are inverses and graph a function and its inverse.

Tuesday – Students will graph the inverse of a function – restrict the domain so the inverse will be a function. Students will complete practice problems.

Wednesday – Students will check practice problems. Students will complete an assignment.

Thursday – Students will take notes – verify two functions are inverses of each other. Students will complete practice problems.

Friday – Students will complete a homework check – graphs of the inverses. Students will check practice problems. Students will complete an assignment.

Tuesday – Students will complete an activity using desmos to look at functions and the reflection over y=x.

Wednesday – Students will take notes on inverse functions – definition, horizontal line test, graphs. Students will work through examples finding the inverse of a function. Students will complete an assignment.

Thursday – Students will continue to find the inverse of a function – determine if the inverse is also a function, identify the domain/range and restrict when necessary. Students will complete an assignment.

Friday – Students will complete a homework check on finding the inverse of a function. Students will continue to work with inverse functions.

Tuesday – ACT testing

Wednesday – EARLY RELEASE DAY – PERIODS 1 – 5   Students will check the graphs. Students will complete a graphing assignment due on Thursday.

Thursday – Students will review for a test – use set builder and interval notation to identify domain and range, discrete and continuous and will write transformations of given equations and graph given equations.

Friday – Students will take a test.
