Tuesday – Students will be given 15 minutes to finish test. Students will evaluate functions graphically. Students will complete practice problems.

Wednesday – Students will evaluate functions algebraically. Students will complete an assignment.

Thursday – Students will complete a homework check on evaluating functions. Students will complete another assignment on evaluating functions.

Friday – Junior Field Trip

Tuesday – ACT testing

Wednesday – EARLY RELEASE DAY – PERIODS 1 – 5   Students will check the graphs. Students will complete a graphing assignment due on Thursday.

Thursday – Students will review for a test – use set builder and interval notation to identify domain and range, discrete and continuous and will write transformations of given equations and graph given equations.

Friday – Students will take a test.

Tuesday – Students will take a quiz – identify the domain and range of a graph. Students will graph a given function and domain. Students will identify the range and whether the graph is discrete or continuous.

Wednesday – Students will take notes on transformations of parent function graphs. Students will write descriptions of the transformations given an equation.

Thursday – Students will complete an assignment – write descriptions of transformations given equations.

Friday – Students will take a quiz on writing descriptions of the transformation given an equation.

Tuesday – Students will take notes over radical inequalities. Students will do practice problems. Students will complete an online assignment.

Wednesday – Students will take a quiz over absolute value equations and inequalities. Students will take notes over solving quadratic equations by factoring. Students will complete an assignment.

Thursday – Students will review for a test over linear equations with fractions, compound inequalities, absolute value equations and inequalities, radical inequalities and quadratic equations.

Friday – Students will take a quiz over radical inequalities and solving quadratic equations by factoring. TEST WILL BE MONDAY

Friday – Students will take notes on solving absolute value inequalities. Students will complete an online assignment using p. 39 problems 5 – 16

Monday – Students will review relations and functions and determine whether a given table, graph or mapping is a function or not. Students will complete a worksheet due tomorrow.

Tuesday – Students will check the assignment. Students will identify parent functions through an activity using DESMOS. Students will add the parent functions to the ISN.

Wednesday – Students will review the process for solving basic equations and inequalities – including multi -step and variables on both sides of the equation/inequality.  Students will complete an assignment.

Thursday – Students will check the assignment. Students will take a quiz over relations/functions. Students will review the process for simplifying radicals. Students will review the process for solving basic quadratic equations.

Friday – Students will take a quiz on solving linear equations/inequalities. Students will complete an assignment over solving basic quadratic equations.

Thursday – Students will complete a student information sheet and sign electronic device contract. Students will be informed of class procedures. Students will be introduced to the TRAIN GAME.

Friday – Students will set up the ISN for class. Students will utilize/join the REMIND app for the class, sign into BIG IDEAS Math for access to textbook, and sign into GOOGLE CLASSROOM. Students will bookmark DESMOS website.
